Development partner search for hospital site scheme

The search for a development partner to create hundreds of homes at the St Annís hospital site in Haringey has been launched.
Two-thirds of the site (7.1 hectares) was bought through the Mayor of London's Land Fund in March 2018 from the Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health Trust.
The goal is to appoint a development partner by Spring 2020, with building to start on site by the end of March 2022.
The site will help create a minimum of 700 homes, which will offer 60% affordable homes. There are 50 homes set aside for community-led housing, and out of the remaining affordable homes 60% will be available at social rent levels, 20% at London Living Rent and 20% for shared ownership.
The development will offer key worker housing for NHS staff, with nominations for at least 22 homes for London Living Rent given to the Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health Trust for 10 years to ensure staff can be housed in the area.
