Sitematch London 2019 venue announced

Mon 16th July 2018, 2:27 pm

Sitematch London on 7 February 2019 will take place in Bishopsgate, the City of London, for the second time.

The venue, at 155 Bishopsgate, received a positive response from delegates when Sitematch was held there for the first time in 2017, with 72% of attendees surveyed rating it 'excellent'.

The main room can fit up to 40 desks for the event's now well-known speed-dating meeting format. There will be a separate room for workshops sessions, as well as a large area for informal networking.

Chris Twigg, director of Inner Circle Consulting, said: "I am happy to hear Sitematch London will be taking place at the same venue as last time. Sitematch London is a multi-facetted event, including speed dating style meetings, workshops and networking sessions. The venue offered a space that was flexible enough to bring these elements together as a cohesive whole.”

At the previous Sitematch London event on 8 February 2018, over 200 attendees engaged in 325 one-on-one meetings to discuss regeneration and development in the capital and home counties. Three briefing sessions took place where delegates could learn about the build-to-rent sector, housing associations and council-owned housing companies.

Keynote speakers at the event were: Nick Stanton OBE, director of consultancy firm Curtin&Co and former Liberal Democrat leader of Southwark Council from 2002 to 2010; James Murray, deputy mayor for housing at GLA; the RT Hon John Healey MP, shadow secretary of state for housing and Sherin Aminossehe, director of offices at developer Lendlease.
