Housing zones to be reviewed

Mayor of London Sadiq Khan has announced he will review housing zones in the capital to ensure they can provide sufficient affordable homes.
So far, 31 housing zones have been announced to speed up housing delivery. More than £600 million will be available to develop up to 75,000 new homes in these zones.
Prominent Housing Zones include Barking Town Centre, Heart of Harrow, Hounslow Town Centre, Meridian Water, Southall and Canada Water, all which can be discussed at Sitematch with London's local authorities and the Greater London Authority.
Khan said: "I want to review the [Housing Zone] programme in detail aiming to increase the levels of affordable housing where we can and address concerns about how much time it’s taking to sign some of the contracts and get on with delivery."
