Interview: Cllr Stefano Borella from Bexley Council

Councillor Stefano Borella, shadow cabinet member for traffic and transport for Bexley Council, spoke to Sitematch London about the improvements he would like to see made in the borough.

What three developments or enhancements would most benefit the borough?

More real affordable housing to allow people to buy and more good-quality social housing, better transport links and more design awareness of medical conditions.

If you could change one thing about working in the borough, what would it be?

To get better transport links.

If you could visit any country in the world, where would you go and why?

Tibet – it looks like an enchanting place with lots of mystery.

Which sporting occasion has had the biggest influence on your life and why?

Any memorable sporting occasion that shows emotion and competion like the Ashes 2005.

What is your favourite gadget and why?

My iPhone, as it allows me to correspond quickly and play music.

What is your biggest professional achievement?

In my day job, winning the Annual Awards of Excellence pastry competition. As a councillor, helping residents get a result.
