Enfield consults on draft CIL charging schedule

Thu 11th December 2014, 2:48 pm

The London Borough of Enfield has published its community infrastructure levy (CIL) draft charging schedule for public consultation.

One noteworthy aspect of the schedule is that no charges would be imposed on residential developments within the Meridian Water masterplan.

Elsewhere in the borough, residential developments would be charged either £40, £60 or £120 per sq m, depending on their location in the borough.

If the schedule is adopted, A1 – A5 development uses would be charged £60 per sq m.

All other uses would be free of charge. The deadline for public consultation ends on 21 January 2015.
