Developers are rarely involved in CIL examinations

The involvement of property developers in the implementation process of community infrastructure levies is lacking.

According to a report by Planning, there is little interest amongst developers to attend CIL examination meetings.

On average, councils receive 18 written submissions during examination periods, and three attendees at meetings.

Six councils, including Croydon and Redbridge, had nobody attend examination meetings.
