Research and strategy consultancy Local Futures has teamed up with Sitematch to provide information about the places in which government’s surplus sites are located.
This information is being provided in the form of scorecards that can be downloaded from individual site profiles, with the results also available to those attending the event on 22 November.
The scorecards provide a high-level summary of the economic, social and environmental conditions of the local authority area in which the site is located.
John Fisher, director at Local Futures said: “The nature of places and communities varies enormously across the country.
"Understanding the unique characteristics of the area within which a site is located can provide some useful insights into future possibilities."
