Prime minister announces regeneration investment programme
Wed 13th November 2013, 9:53 am
Prime minister David Cameron has announced the creation of the Regeneration Investment Organisation (RIO), which will have the objective of directing foreign investors to development opportunities.
The RIO will be administered by UK Trade and Investment (UKTI), with an independent advisory board chaired by former mayor of the City of London, Sir Michael Bear.
David Cameron said the RIO “... will act as a one-stop-shop for our major inward investment opportunities - with £100 billion of possible projects on the table".
Nahid Majid OBE, chief operating officer of the ROI at UKTI, will attend Sitematch UK on 22 November at HM Treasury.
Book your place to attend the event and engage in speed-dating style meetings with six public sector land owners.
