Camden Council has launched a consultation into its community infrastructure levy preliminary draft charging schedule.

The proposed schedule divides the borough into three zones: central, Highgate/Hampstead and the rest.

Charges for residential developments are the highest in Highgate/Hampstead, including a rate of £500 per square metre for developments encompassing more than 10 dwellings.

Developments such as offices and hotels are costlier in the central zone compared to other areas in the borough.

For the complete proposed charging schedule and a timetable for eventual implementation, visit Camden’s profile on the Sitematch London website.

The council will accept views on the schedule from all interested parties until 20 December, when the consultation closes.
